According to a EA job listing it looks like Dead Space 2 will totally have multiplayer, which sounds really crazy to me. At least competitive mutliplayer sounds really weird, but a Dead Space horde mode would rock my goddamn socks off. Here’s a quote from the job listing:

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Online Level Designer for the Dead Space franchise on Xbox360 and PS3. This is a major opportunity to contribute creatively to an exciting new franchise.

So yeah, maybe this’ll increase the value of Dead Space 2 so that there’s more people to hold on to it instead of trading it in. But right now I’m only looking forward to the single-player campaign as Dead Space 1 had one of the best single-player experiences this generation.

What do you folks think? Yay or nay for Dead Space multiplayer? And what kind of multiplayer would you want?

Well, this probably made my day folks. CVG has brought the the gaming media’s attention to an article written by news agency the Reuters which claims that:

Electronic Arts has a pair of horror offerings for gamers. The publisher recently shipped “Dead Space: Extraction” for Wii, which is a prequel to last fall’s Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC hit. “Dead Space 2” is in development for next year.

All I can say to that is…WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Dead Space is currently my favoriate game this entire generation, and Dead Space: Extraction was a hell of a good game even though it was on the Wii. So more Dead Space is fantastic news to me. I really hope this is true.

What do you folks say? Ready for more Dead Space?

Games on Demand is shit. Period. They charge a great deal for shitty games no one cares about, but it seems like someone if finally getting the picture. Microsoft has just put up Dead Space and DiRT on Games on Demand, DiRT is 30$ which IS a big rip-off , while Dead Space is at 20$, a fair price for what I consider currently the greatest game ever made.

I fully recommend you buy Dead Space now, this amazing series needs to be supported and Visceral could use the support also. After all, Dead Space: Extraction isn’t selling well, and while Dead Space sold a million EA has claimed that over 4 million people have played Dead Space…That’s a lot of used copies.

So if you like Sci-Fi and Horror even a tiny but, buy this game now. You won’t regret it.
